tubing with a "buddy", so as to help in case of emergency |
stay in the middle of the creek or in the deepest running water where you'll have fewer obstacles to deal with |
if you fall out of the tube: DON'T PANIC - don't attempt to get back on the tube in rapids - grab your tube, place it in front of you, use it as a cushion and ride out the rapids, then get back on your tube in calm water |
if you are unable to grab the tube, position feet first and make yourself drift towards the shore |
don't stand in water more than knee deep - currents are strong and you can easily be knocked over |
no food, beverages, or coolers allowed in water |
please respect posted property |
if tube blows or lightning starts exit water immediately: to your left on the upper course to rt. 28 - to your right on the lower course to rt. 28 - go to the highway and we will pick you up |
